First of all, could we not use the S---S word anymore. I am certain we
could come up with a more civil, polysyllabic word that might be more
appropriate. Many of us would like to raise the bar a bit where this
discussion is concerned, Mr. Swift.

I would really like to know what you believe the problems are. Why are
the scores so bad? With all of the knowledge you possess on the education
issue, I would think have an assessment of why the scores are so low.

I think that I have some ideas, but you seem to speak with the authority
of an expert, so I would really appreciate your reasoning at this
juncture. I am just a parent. I hold no degree in education, so I would
appreciate an opinion for one as seasoned as yourself in the subject.

If the problem is easy to solve, I would think the school districts (
Minneapolis and Saint Paul) would be in great debt to you.

Please share.
