I know this is a big no no, but when I read something so much in line with my

Actually, posting a short quote about an issue of interest to the forum along with your own comments is totally appropriate. I think that Paul's post was a good example of how to bring outside information into our discussions.
What we do forbid is the posting the entire text of a copyrighted article (even if you give credit), posting private correspondence without the permission of the author, forwarding jokes to the list, or just dumping stuff into the forum because you think we all should see it - without any explanation or context.
We ENCOURAGE the use of quotes or data from external sources, IF you take the time to put it into context and explain why you are sharing it with this particular group.
We also encourage people to post links to articles or web sites that very specifically address St. Paul Issues (as per my own submission of links to articles about St. Paul Issues).
SIDE NOTE: Acknowledging up front that you are (or might be) breaking the rules, will not prevent or discourage enforcement of those rules.
:-)
If you have any questions about this, please contact me.
Best wishes,
