I asked a very simple question: When is Al Franken on, and look what I get!
I think that the right wing conspiracy is at it again, folks. Are ya'll trying to confuse Ol' Hanson here???? Chuck Repke says: same time at 740 am. Adina Overbee says: He's not on anymore. Bruce Vandal says: Move to 1530 am. Somebody else says: Complains about the static on his radio. And last, but not least, T.J. Swifty, comes on with: Wear some tin foil and point my head somewhere. (Ol' Swifty is the expert on tin foil in here.) Now, we're gonna do this one more time AND this time I'm going to move r e a l s l o w for ya. W H E N, I N T H E H E L L, I S A L F R A N K E N ON? R. Hanson. Still looking for Al Franken in St. Paul. P.S. Now I know why this group of zanies needs a moderator. If I was the moderator, I'd throw a net over all of ya. To: "popman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Try climbing to the top of the Larson building and tilting your tin-foil hat to the east. __________________________________________________________________________________ The station was sold (as was known that the sale was in process) to a religious organization. Thus, Franken is no longer syndicated to that station. The show is still on, although everyone I've talked to says that here in the Twin Cities we can't get it. I believe that Chicago is the closest station carrying the show. Too bad, huh? It really seems like Al Franken should be carried in his home market. I know he's trying to have that happen. Adina Overbee Merriam Park _________________________________________________________________________________ The lineup is at AM 1530 now, but when I tune in from Saint Paul, I get a faint signal and lots of static. I miss Big Ed, cuz he's a home town Fargo boy, but he is NOT air america radio. Re AirAmerica - Al Franken is funny, but Katherine Lampher is the true anchor of that show. Randi Roads is great and so is Janeane Garofalo. I wish we had a St Paul station for these folks. I listen on the Internet, but I can't get that in my car! "MINNESOTA/WISCONSIN: The Twin Cities radio landscape changed as expected Tuesday morning (5/25) with "Relevant Radio" and the Minnesota Production Network's talk lineup trading spots on the dial. The former WMNN/1330 (Minneapolis) is now WLOL, carrying Catholic Talk from Starboard Media's Relevant Radio network. Meanwhile, MPN is leasing KSMM/1530 (Shakopee) from Starboard and has assumed Starboard's lease of WMIN/740 (Hudson) from Greg Borgen. KSMM and WMIN simulcast as "Straight Talk Radio," with a lineup including AP All News Radio, local host Wendy Wilde from 9-11a, Al Franken from 11a-2p, and Ed Schultz from 2-5p.
