Recently, one participant in our forum told another:

"you should be ashamed of such an attitude."

I think that this is one of those borderline examples of rhetoric which stifles participation in our forum and pushes the boundaries of proper list "etiquette."


Without suggesting that this comment broke any rules, I think it does raise questions about list etiquette, which need greater attention. However, I'd like to keep this discussion out of the St. Paul Issues Forum and limit it to those interested in the topic.
