Note: One of the concerns raised in the article is the fact that the Unidale Mall is likely to be split and sold to two separate owners/developers. This would make any major redevelopment much more difficult.
Any comments on the future of this important corner?

"Things are looking up at the once-tarnished intersection of University Avenue and Dale Street in St. Paul. On one corner, a new library topped by more than 100 apartments is in the works. On another, plans are in place for senior housing.
But dreams of replacing the scruffy Unidale Mall strip center at the southeast corner with a shiny new development could be slipping away."
