Nonsmoking Night Out Tuesday, July 27 - 4:30 - 9:00 p.m.
4:30-6 Happy Hour (tbd, nominations include Old Man River, others) 6-8 Dinner (tbd, nominations include: Mai Village, others) 8-9 Dessert (Caf� Latte) To Elected officials and staffs of Wards 1, 2, 4, 5 & 7. We would like to honor your courage in voting for the smoking ban and to invite you to a grassroots community gathering (actually 3 of them) to be held next Tuesday. We're doing this to support favorite nonsmoking restaurants right before the scheduled vote on July 28 to override the veto. We are hoping that this will make a strong statement to your constituents and also to set a good example for those restaurant/bar owners that are worried about losing business. Bloomington and Minneapolis are soon to have their bans in place. Saint Paul would like to join them in this courageous effort. Cheers & hope to see you Tuesday evening!
