NEWS FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD UPDATE A few of you may have just gotten a similar email with one small error - the St. Thomas Hearing will be next WEDNESDAY, not THURSDAY as the email wrongly stated. This is the corrected version.

Tell your neighbors! ----------------------------------------------------- ST THOMAS EXPANSION TO BE HEARD NEXT WEDNESDAY AT CITY COUNCIL At 5:30pm on WEDNESDAY, July 28th, in City Council Chambers, the St. Paul City Council will hear the Macalester-Groveland Community Council's appeal of the St. Thomas expansion decision. While the Community Council supports the expansion of the University under certain conditions, we believe the Planning Commission did not place sufficient controls in its conditions for the expansion of the University. Without the City enacting stronger conditions as part of its expansion approval, the Community Council does not support the expansion.
