Well if the league and the players don't come to a meeting of the minds (and from the article in the PPress don't look like they are getting anywhere) the NHL will not be playing many games there this year.

Everyone seems a bit nervous, is it something to be worried about? Could be a down season for the businesses if it is, on top of a hurting Downtown (remember all that vacant office space, it aint gone away despite the smoking ban debate :-) ) could make for a bad year for everyone from the West End up through the East side.

But I suppose there are more important things going on like the Taxpayer League renaming a Highway (or spouting out for it, big deal ain't gonna happen).
