Sept. 22, Is there a crisis unfolding for Liberians in the Twin Cities? discussion
led by Tammy Walhof, Regional Director of Bread for the World. Pres. Bush has issued
an executive order that the country of Liberia is no longer in a state of crisis. If
temporary protective status is denied as a result of this declaration, how will the
Minnesota Liberian community and the country of Liberia be affected? Tammy Walhof has
done a lot of work on this issue, particularly in regard to the desperate need for
food aid in Liberia. What can be done?
