My apologies to the list but it was my impression that both major campaigns
have made our state a battleground state and yet, when it comes to
presenting their arguments to us, only one campaign is making it a practice
to exclude any opposition from their presence. This attempt to manipulate
the media into presenting the appearance of a LACK of opposition seemed to
me to be appropriate to our local discussions.

Apparently I was wrong.
