Well, it sounds like the Former Chief of Police is not gonna make a run for the Mayors Office.
Is this a rumor - or has there been some kind of official notice. I just searched both the StarTribue and Pioneer Press and did not find any articles to this effect?
I recall reading it in an article in the Pioneer Press within the last week or so. I don't think it was a headline article, but buried in another article. The article stated his reason was his wife (and it mentioned she was head of the BCA) didn't want him to run, there were also comments from the mayor saying this would be a $1 Mill election.... wish I had brought it up sooner, or could find it online as well. Unfortunately the recycling was picked up already and I can't find where I saw it.
I could be wrong... I usually am, but the reason it stuck in my mind was the comment from the mayor saying this election would be a $1 Million election and I thought to myself DANG THAT IS ALOT OF MONEY.
