I am out of town so forgive my delayed response. As
far as I know the priority is getting this young man
the help he needs -- just as we should for all kids
(and adults).
At this time I don't have any more details than any of
you (and perhaps less because of distance), but I'll
see what I can find out.
I also hope everyone will remember to focus first on
the kids and what each of us can do to help, and after
that ask sincere questions about how well the
community responds to kids in trouble. And please take
care in making assumptions about what's going
on...everyone's trying to do the right thing.
