What's On Your Ballot? Find out...... http://www.e-democracy.org/myballot/ -----------------------------------------
Judge Fetsch is an honorable and good person, and I plan to vote for him. We were recipients at work of a number of MPAAT grants in its first years, as we still do. Early on, it seemed imperative that the very best people should be on the MPAAT board, many of whom were also part of the "anti-tobacco" movement. There were many potential conflicts of interest, and I feel they were handled appropriately, with persons affected by decisions not participating in discussion, not voting, and often leaving the room. Most of the votes were based on recommendations of independent consultants who reviewed grant applications, which further mitigated any potential conflict of interest. Therefore, I think Judge Fetsch's decisions in the MPAAT case as astute, wise, and in the best interest of preserving the integrity of the system, as subsequent history proves. Find out...... http://www.e-democracy.org/myballot/ ----------------------------------------- Andy has suggested that I contact Judge Fetsch to get his answers to my concerns. I decided it was a fair request. The Judge should have an opportunity to respond to my concerns. I went to his campaign filing for an e-mail address. No such thing. Neither he nor either of the other individuals associated with his campaign listed an e-mail contact. (there seemed to be only one place where it could be listed and it was left blank) I see no indication of a web site either. His opponent has responded to this forum. Any way anyone knows of asking the Judge to respond in a public way to the public statements I have made? -- Jeanne Weigum 651-646-3005 fax 651-646-0142 _____________________________________________ To Join: St. Paul Issues Forum Rules Discussion Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _____________________________________________ NEW ADDRESS FOR LIST: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe, modify subscription, or get your password - visit: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/listinfo/stpaul Archive Address: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/private/stpaul/ _____________________________________________ To Join: St. Paul Issues Forum Rules Discussion Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _____________________________________________ NEW ADDRESS FOR LIST: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe, modify subscription, or get your password - visit: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/listinfo/stpaul Archive Address: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/private/stpaul/
