In response to my remarks concerning the flyer delivered with the Voice, I received the following message from the publisher: --- "St. Paul Publishing" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Charles, The insert was delivered via Independent Delivery Services, Inc., based out of St. Paul as a stand alone piece in the bundle that they deliver and rubber bind together or place in a plastic bag. It should not have arrived tucked (inserted) inside our newspaper. This may be confusing because we contract with IDS to deliver our newspaper. IDS delivers advertising flyers and other newspapers to St. Paul and the surrounding suburbs. This insert was placed by a client of IDS's and not The St. Paul Voice, and we have no control over who they accept for clients. My company did not receive any money or profit from it. If you'd like to contact IDS, you may reach them at 651-487-1136. We closely monitor the advertising content of our newspaper and would never accept anything with racist content. I believe if you look at all of the advertising placed in our newspaper you would see this to be true.
