What's On Your Ballot? Find out...... http://www.e-democracy.org/myballot/ -----------------------------------------
Citizens concerned with light rail,
We wrote to many of you a couple days ago concerning an online forum on light rail in the Twin Cites that four of us from Macalester College are organizing. The discussion will be moderated through PoliTalk, a virtual group for the discussion of current affairs. Each day we will post a new topic or question focusing on a particular aspect of the light rail, and we hope that you will join the discussion and share your perspective on the issues raised. Today (Monday, November 1st) marks the first day of our five day forum, and we would urge any of you who have not yet signed up to do so at:

This is a listserve extremely reminiscent of the E-Democracy forum, but the focus is narrowed and the discussion will include specifically contacted light rail or anti-light rail "enthusiasts" who do not take part in the e-democracy forums. While we would like as many people to actively participate as possible, you are in no way obligated to post any messages in the forum by signing up. We urge you to forward this widely to other individuals interested in the Twin Cities light rail, and thank you for your contribution to the light rail conversation.
We know this is a busy week for the civically engaged, but please take a moment to sign up right now at the address above! This will provide a productive way to pass the time between premature election "results" broadcast over the next few days. Thank you for your participation! Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,
