What's On Your Ballot? Find out......

I voted at the Church Center on Summit at 8:45. It was FREEZING
standing in the cold. There were two people on the public sidewalk as
greeters. They had voter registration information for people who needed
to register yet. I recognized them as Merriam Park Neighbors for Peace
but they did not have any partisan literature or signs, etc. The line
snaked out of the building, down the sidewalk, down the public sidewalk
nearly to the corner.

The line moved slowly. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Lots
of neighborly chatting. After about 10 minutes a poll worker leaned out
and asked if there were any people with a name s-z. That would be me.
I was marched in and voted. As I left my part of the line was still not
inside the building... but they were all still having fun. It was just
too cold to stay and join them.
