Fellow Saint Paulites, FCC Commissioners Copps and Adelstein will be in Saint Paul on Thursday December 9 to hold an FCC Field Hearing on Localism and Media Reform at Hamline University's Sundin Hall. Citizens from Minnesota will present testimony and discuss how responsive and representative electronic media in our neck of the woods is, and what steps should be taken to increase the usefulness of media in our local communities.
There are a series of workshops leading up to the event to help citizens provide testimony and policy recommendations at the hearing.
