NOTE: Meeting to build network to support Early Childhood Education
Ramsey County and especially the St. Paul area has a wealth of fantastic programs and services for families around early childcare and education. All of these programs are extremely effective and efficient. But, all to often we all operate very independently and only collaborate occasionally.
The timing is right to build a base of early childhood advocates and develop a communication system to inform and mobilize parents/citizens to plan for specific legislative strategies for the upcoming session.
There are already many efforts in motion. Such as; the Early Childhood Caucus, scheduled for Monday, November 22, 6:30 to 8:00 PM,(see attached flyer). St. Paul Public Schools Family Education Site Council is very involved to mobilize parents to become involved with this effort.
