University UNITED is requesting nominations by November 29 for its Annual Awards Program which honors the best development projects and programs along the University Avenue corridor. To receive an award, the project or program must have been largely completed in 2004, be consistent with the principles of transit-oriented development, and have had a positive impact on the University Avenue Corridor and the community. This year's panel of judges includes Richard Fisher representing the St. Paul AIA; Tim Griffin of the St. Paul Design Center; James Garrett, Jr. of Formula Architecture Design Development; Nieeta Presley of Aurora Saint Anthony Neighborhood Development Corporation; and Trish Sackrison, Chair of University UNITED. The awards will be presented at 5:00 PM, Monday, December 13, at the party room of the 808 Berry Apartments, Emerald Gardens. For information call (651) 647-6711.
