Since there really aren't any laws that protect groundwater or aquifers from 
polluters (Cristy buy yourself a good water filter) I can't see that any 
development in Minnesota can be stopped or curbed because it is harmful to our 
drinking supply.   Unless of course the pollution is in surface water.  
Something legislators can see.  If it is underground, then forget it.  Too 
complicated.  Not legislated.  

And as far as the noise pollution and the anticipated pollution from the 
traffic, well, developers have a lot of money to show the council that noise 
limits will not be reached, traffic congestion will be mitigated, and nurf 
ponds will take care of the pollution threat to the surface water.  

I wish the citizens a LOT of luck in the fight to preserve the wildlife in 
Roseville.  But the cards are stacked against them because the envrionmental 
laws that are there to protect them are laughable and way out of date.
