Apologies for not signing my previous post: Michelle Hoffman West Side
Note: I harmoniously live with the airport. My home is on the lower tier of the bluff on the West Side and I watch the planes a lot. I personally am not bothered by the noise because it is not loud (for me.) The manager of the airport is incredibly sensitive to the needs of the neighborhood and has made adjustments to the beacon so that it does not flash on us bluff residents turning our homes into disco ballrooms.
I just don't agree with the dike plans for me aforementioned reasons.
