Please, can we keep discussing this somehow? I think there's a lot to sort out specific to St. Paul and how we want our city to develop over the next several decades.

Yes, we can discuss this. In fact, you and Jackie have done an excellent job of bringing the Wal-mart discussion back to a St. Paul related theme - that is development and how we want development to look and act in our city/community.
Defending or attacking Wal-marts international business practices really isn't in the scope of this forum. However, talking about how Wal-Mart and other big box retailers are impacting our community is (NOTE: OURS, not communities in general)!
Talking about what we want for development on University (or anywhere else in the city) is!
