On Saturday, Jan. 8, Minnesota E-Democracy Chair Steve Clift and St. Paul Issues Forum List Manager Tim Erickson will head to the United Kingdom to launch an international effort to expand the use online civic discussion. In a partnership involving organizations from three different countries, online discussions styled after the Minneapolis and St. Paul Issues Forums will be piloted in four cities across the United Kingdom.

Minnesota E-Democracy will be providing expertise and management needed to duplicate its model of online civic dialogue that has successfully operated in Minnesota since 1994.

Minnesota E-Democracy contacts and citizen participants will gather at the Baja Riverside Grill (insert details) to kick off the event and will be available for media interviews.
