The excuse that the news division is separate from the editorial 
devision is separate from marketing is getting a bit old. Its one paper 
and its perception in the community does not make the above 
distinctions. Also, when the paper demeans our elected officials it 
demeans, to a lesser extent, all residents, ie their target market, who
