With Precinct Caucuses to be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2005,
understanding how caucuses work is an important first step on the road
to the upcoming local elections. 

The Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties is
proud to partner with the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, Metropolitan
Alliance of Community Centers, West Side Citizen�s Organization/West
Side100 and Got Voice? Got Power! a workshop geared toward educating
people about how to make sense of and navigate their caucuses.

At these workshops, you will learn:

� Who can participate in a caucus;

� What you and your organization can do to encourage participation;

� What you can do at a caucus;

� How to prepare and present a resolution to "create a buzz" about your
issues;

� How to become a delegate and support a candidate.


These workshops will be presented by Minnesota Council of Nonprofit
staff
