Andy,

Indeed, here we go again. :-)

Can't we agree that this is an issue that reasonable people can disagree
on?

I understand why some DFL'ers would like to change the endorsement system,
but am I not allowed to hold a opposing viewpoint? After all this is
still a free country! (well kinda)

For the record the Ramsey County Endorsing Convention had 295 delegates
voting on the endorsement question, not 30 or 40 as you speculated. Not bad
for a convention regarding a special election. At least another hundred
people were present volunteering for the DFL and the various campaigns.
Where were you Andy? You live in that district.

The rules which the DFL Party operates under are established by the people
who participate in the party. They can be changed at anytime as soon as
you get the majority of party members to agree with you.

It is called the democratic process. Is that so wrong?

Come to the DFL Precinct Caucus and make the rules this Tuesday, March 1st
at 7PM. For more info about precinct caucuses go to the Ortega for Mayor
website at:

Andy, I'll save a seat for you at your DFL precinct caucus meeting at
Monroe Community School, 810 Palace Ave, 7PM. Bring your proposed rule
changes with you and everyone will vote on them!
