WANT TO SUBMIT AN ENDORSEMENT? HERE'S HOW!
E-Democracy is setting up a formal process for keeping track of endorsements during this election season. This is designed to spur conversation and interest in the evolving shape of this year's election season. Endorsements must be submitted to [EMAIL PROTECTED] There are several benefits to submitting formal endorsements, including:
- Inclusion on the E-Democracy endorsement web archive, where will store all endorsements through the election this fall.
- Submission in a standardized format, which can be easily sorted through email archives by candidate, and searched.
Endorsements must meet the following basic standards:
- The endorsement is no more than 250 words in length;
- The endorsement must be for a living person;
- Endorsements need not come only from Issues Forum members, but a St. Paul address must be included with the endorsement.
- Forum members may only make one endorsement per elective office, unless the individual who has been endorsed has formally withdrawn from the race;
The ability to endorse in this fashion will be available only at certain points during the campaign season. Endorsements submitted through this Friday will be posted within 24 hours. Endorsements submitted through tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1:00 pm should be processed by 4:30 pm, in advance of the caucuses. You may submit endorsements at other times, but we make no strict promises with regards to how timely their processing will be.
Do you have any questions? Submit inquiries to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thanks!
