Now he promises to unite the DFL Party.
Is it the mayors job to unite the DFL party, or to effectively run the city and make St. Paul a better place to live?
Is the DFL looking to endorse the "best DFLer" or the person who is most likely to effectively forward the DFL agenda in city hall?
In my opinion, these are not necessarily the same person.
I don't have the answers, but this debate about endorsements and "party loyalty" always amuses and intrigues me.
