If we wish to protect workers then perhaps owners should make available a protective apparatus to each employee - e.g. a gas mask.
Each St. Paul bar and restaurant employee, if so choosing, could wear it whilst working his/her shift. Or, in the meantime, employees could buy their own pretty cheaply at the AX Man on University (if it's still there).
