I was in Michele Ford's campaign when she worked for Kelly in his state
senator's office. She was making a bid for State Rep at the time in Tim
Mahoney's
east side area. It was a three way race for DFL endorsement with
businesswoman Carrie Whasley sporting Kelly's support. Kelly strong-armed
Michele
everyday in their work space, to bow out of the race. He made her work life
hell
for her. She stood courageous and stuck in there.
Playing to get his way has always been Kelly's method. And his known bottom
line of rough and ugly is the psychological fear of revenge he employs.
I hope it brings his public career down for good.
I just wish we had a better offer than Coleman and Ortega for mayor.
