The little book my friend Diane mentions was produced
by the city and was meant to complement some of the
outreach the CVB is doing. I think there has been a
gap - particularly in the areas around downtown - in
providing a one stop resource for promotion of
cultural attractions and businesses. The book is a
step in the right direction.
I'd agree there are things I'd change about the book -
not including West 7th as a neighborhood seems a
fairly big oversight (of a neighborhood that's endured
more than its fair share of being let down over the
years). But still overall a step in the right
direction from the Kelly administration, at a time
when resources are non-existent.
