It seems to me that the bigger downside for all these Saint Paul bars who will increase
their load of smokers, is that the increased toxicity of the air will drive more nonsmokers
and mixed groups to clean air bars. There are people who can tolerate half a dozen
people smoking at the bar, but not two dozen.

It won't be the kind of exodus we saw in the early 70's when Wisconsin's
drinking age law had all us Minnesotans crossing the river. But, St. Paul bar
owners should see increased activity of smoking patrons.
