Multi-millionaires use the Xcel center to provide entertainment that
everyone who can get a ticket can attend.  It isn't much different
than a golf course except the dollar amounts are higher and the
choices are more diverse.  the Xcel center is also used by the state
high school league and the university of minnesota.  I still think the
festival of nations is held there but i could be wrong on that one.

Also, with the Xcel center the wild pay the city an annual fee
somewhere in the $5 million range that is scheduled to increase as
time goes by.  It isn't as if the city built the arena and then handed
over the keys saying "have fun."
