Fern's owner also was a big pusher 2 years ago for Mayor Kelly's 3% bar and
restuarant tax to build a stadium for the Twins. There are a lot of better
places we could go to.

Still, given Fern's and others abusive and downright
obnoxious behavior at City Hall regarding the smoking
ban, I won't be spending money or directing
friends/events to Fern's anytime soon, unless they'll
be issuing a public apology.
It's really too bad a few restaurants got so hostile
during the smoking ban arguments; I enjoyed libations
and food in many of them before their antics.
Fortunately, St. Paul has plenty of other
worker-friendly places to send our business to!
