Dmitry might have an idea, but i think usually people just find something that impacts them personally. i thought there was a TODO list, but i'm not seeing one. some "simple" starter projects might be to add more ioctl decoders. if you look at mtd.c and traceback from there, you should be able to see how they're implemented. then you have to find some interesting ones that aren't implemented yet :). -mike
