I have painted a little in Chileno Valley and the boatyards in Tomales. I've driven to Mendocino but just to walk out on the rocks and turn around and drive back. I moved to Mill Valley from Westhampton Beach on Long Island so I've seen my share of privatized beach property --what extremely wealthy people can do to a landscape. The South Shore of Long Island used to be extraordinary, I'm sure. Now it's McMansions. I gotta go right now, but I've got a beautiful watercolor painting of a drawbridge in WH Beach I'll send you a link to it. Not for sale, but you're a bridge guy, right? You might like to see.
