Hi all, Looking for a little technical knowledge.
I have an older dual 2ghz G5, and the 150gb drive is starting to feel a little claustrophobic. I was looking into a larger drive: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp? EdpNo=3333210&CatId=139 The system profiler on my machine says the existing drive is Serial ATA. This drive I'm looking at is Serial ATA-300. I assume that's a newer standard. Is it like RAM, where I can put the newer drive in and it will slow down to the old standard, or does ATA-300 involve a new connector/interface? Thanks in advance, -- Michael --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
