I use Traveller's for home and car, my bank rolled up a bundle for
both and underwrite the plan as a local representative, which is
helpful since I can just ask Peggy questions at my home branch
office. It wound up being about $500/year less than Statefarm for
car & whatever that homeowner's insurance mess was the mortgage
company stuck me with. I think it was Lincoln, but it's been awhile.
They sent out an inspector who stood in the doorway and declared my
house a wooden frame structure from the 1800's, despite it being a
solid brick construction from 1917 - and then canceled my plan
retroactively. Traveller's stepped right up and made sure there was
no lapse so that I didn't run afoul of state regulations.
