Hey, I know how the polling game works, and I know polls vary widely. I also 
know that generic polls have very little meaning, but they can be useful at 
picking up trends. That's what is important in this stage of the election, 
especially when one candidate leads by only 4 to 8 points and that candidate 
has trouble maintaining support over 50%. Those trends are even more important 
when they're driven no so much by the candidates themselves, but by external 
events such as an economic crisis or a terrorist attack. (Not that I'm wishing 
for either one.)

Along with TEN, you missed the point of my post. If it will help, I can 
reiterate my point using smaller words.
