Finally saw Iron Man. Liked it. Iron Man was originally created in the 60s when our military was neck deep in Asia. That is where Stark got clobbered and created the first suit. His chief nemesis back then was a Fu Manchu type of yellow peril dude who called himself The Mandarin. He had 10 power rings that emitted death rays, heat rays, freeze rays & whatnot. His character could have been recreated with a Persian theme really easily but ..... Anyway, that is where the name of the terrorist group came from. It's probably explained on the DVD extras that I have not watched yet.
