Within minutes of her nomination, Sarah Palin -- a former mayor and sitting governor -- was viciously attacked (not merely criticized) as being unqualified.
Why do those same people consider Caroline Kennedy suitable for appointment to the US Senate when so many other candidates that are much more qualified are readily available? For that matter, what makes her bartering for the appointment any less disgusting than Blago's acts?
