There's so much roof work around here, I wish I weren't afraid of heights - more power to you for doing all that. I saw where they were hiring across the hurricane path for security gigs escorting rescue and aid workers. If you're certified to carry, they were paying $60/hr for two 60 hour weeks at a time in rotating shifts. Amazing the stuff you learn about on craigslist.... >i got accepted into the local ><http://artinthepass.com>artinthepass.com show. will be working on >some new stuff for it. they kicked everyone out of the saturday >market, except the food people/growers...for the winter... Yeah, they've pared the local markets down to meat, eggs, honey, winter crop farmers and bakers. The cheese and soap folks take the winter off too, not sure why. It's impressive how efficient the market process can become when all the scheduling and ordering is done via email; the mid-week afternoon market is down to 3 hours, and nobody's complaining. I'm trying to build up some stock for spring, but succulents only grow so fast, even under lights. One of my neighbors has his kitchen cabinets topped with seedling flats, I'm not sure what that does to his carbon footprint. :) -- Mugsy<http://www.macgeekofdogtown.com>Right after I clicked the 'Send' button, I thought of a better answer. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
