You gotta love it "Windows provides a dependable experience"

This from our local sysadmins list: (he's talking about a system  
that's gotten infected with the damned "Spyware 2009" fake AV  
extortionware despite having our antivirus app Sophos installed and up- 
to-date )

"I just witnessed it happen while I was standing five feet away from  
the machine.  User was listening to streaming music and simply doing  
work tasks, then message popped up about possible infection.  The user  
closed it thinking that Sophos would say something if it was an issue,  
then informed me afterwards. Not more than 10 seconds later, a scan  
started running on the screen, I killed it and screen went black with  
message with big red letters about an infection on the machine.  At  
that point, I cursed Sophos under my breath and unplugged the machine  
from the network.  It's really distressing to see how quickly the  
infection occurred and how little Sophos did to stop it. "

Yes, quite dependably crapware...
