Don't play his game, this is just the new conservative puke funnel attack on the word 'progressive' like they did 'liberal'. Propagandists like Beck and Jeffrey Goldberg have successfully equated fascists to "Liberals" and "Progressives", when the truth is that their tactics are far closer to historic fascism as practiced by Hitler, Mussolini and that asshat German banker I linked to: An exaggerated sense of nationalism, highly militarized, a worship of the soldier, incestuous ties to the corporate state, a profoundly anti-intellectual public stance, and a deep emphasis on the danger the 'others' pose to the 'real' members of the society. It's no coincidence that the real socialists in Germany and Italy were the first ones suppressed, thrown into the German concentration camps or beaten by the Blackshirts.
