So what? The author's analysis is spot on, and dismissing it because it was published in a conservative paper is intellectually lazy. As is continuing to blame Bush for poor policies implemented by the Obama/Reid/Pelosi cabal, richardsan. And your persistent raising of strawmen doesn't help your argument any. Obama has followed, indeed amplified, the worst of Bush's crony capitalism policies and has thrust the nation further into debt and greatly expanded government intrusion into our daily lives. The issue now is Obama's administration, and record numbers of Americans believe our country is heading in the wrong direction under his leadership (if that's what you can call it). His policies have failed elsewhere in the world and at other times in our past. Federal spending and more federal control isn't the cure -- it's the ailment.
