while i can see the necessity of subduing psychotics and brawlers ... i can't see how fully trained police officers have no better
way of controlling a situation ... goodness it is possible to subdue rampaging tigers, rhinos and what have you and keep them alive

Actually there ws a case kinda like tht around here some years ago. A
large obese man who had a long drug habit & who had been getting high on
a number of drugs for the better part of a day attacked a couple cops &
in the ensuing melee (all caught on cruisercam) the guy petered out & died.
If you want to go around starting fights you should really train.
