You really ARE stupid, or think we are, or that we're not paying attention. 60 votes. If that phrase isn't etched in your mind by now, it really should be. The House passed nearly 500 bills in the last session that went nowhere because you need 60 votes in the Senate to do ANYTHING. EVERYTHING needs 60 votes in the Senate to simply get to a vote. We've had two years of McConnell et al playing Lucy in the senate, yanking the football away at the last moment. (Of course, when Democrats merely threatened to do it, your folks acted as if the Dems were committing treason by 'Obstructing the will of the people') I expoect you'll scream the same thing every time Obama now vetoes some piece of crap that the republican controlled house will urp out. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "StrataList-OT" group.
