Massaman curried cauliflower with white beets, carrots, delicata squash and
snow peas, all locally grown, over sesame-scented organic basmati from
thailand, and a truly american brew: Yeungling Black & Tan - cheers!

Foster dog Shahlet (Charlotte as it is said in GA) has storm/fireworks terror
that's absolutely silent, but causes her to crash into the nearest door at high
speeds. We're dosing with a homeopathic called phosphorus 30c, having
astonishingly positive results, still haven't the foggiest notion why it works.
Started with 3 tiny pills for Annie and Shahlet at the first
whistle/pop/screamer/boomer and then repeat every 20-30 minutes for up to 4x.
They're 80 and 70lbs, and although I had to physically restrain Shahlet for the
big professional 30 minute show Launched from the bridge near the house last
night, they both were completely calm during the storm that came through an
hour later. Radio Paradise is cranked up, and this evening's 'works appear to
be rained out, but we're having loads of thunder-boomers and with the same
dosing, we've only had occasional barks on the really big crashes. Everyone's
hanging out on the rug downstairs and it looks like somebody let off sleeping
gas that only affects big yellow dogs. :)
