My desk has a small shelf holding up my monitor, and underneath that is the home for my keyboard, Wacom tablet, USB hub, etc. I got a new monitor (a Woot special, $153 for a 23" HP monitor with a silly sticker over the HP logo in front so it was sold as a 'Famous Maker'....good deal) and this one had a power brick, instead of directly connecting to 110V like my old one. So I plugged in the brick and dropped it onto the desk behind the monitor.
Wacom tablets do deeply weird things when you lay a live AC-DC power supply on top of them.... my mouse button no longer worked...I couldn't click on anything. Then my computer would just start rebooting endlessly. -- Bruce Johnson "Wherever you go, there you are" B.
