There's a weird issue in Lion when waking from sleep. Apps seems to have no
internet connectivity, yet in Terminal I (and other affected users) are able to
resolve DNS and ping by IP or hostname. A bit of chatter about it in various
forums, but I've found the quickest solution is to make a minor change to your
network settings and save (IPv6 change worked for me yesterday), else log out
and log back in. Some folks are rebooting to resolve, but it's unnecessary.
Otherwise I like Lion now that natural scrolling is off (I use mouse w/ scroll
wheel almost exclusively on all Macs). My NAS doesn't yet support AFP 2.2,
until it does the iTunes share on the NAS is being served up by a different
machine (still on Snow Leopard).
Other than the NAS and the wake issue, everything else has been smooth sailing.
